Featured shop: GaGirlNaturals

This week we sat down with Wanda from GaGirlNaturals and got to know her and her shop.

Can you tell us a little about yourself and what you create? My name is Wanda Garrison. I am married and have 4 children-3 boys and 1 girl. All are grown except my youngest son, Jesse, who is 16. I love creating things. I am a licensed cosmetologist, and have a certificate in natural health and healing.


 The products I create are made with the best natural, organic ingredients. I make organic seasoning mixes, teas, perfume oil roll on's, men's fragrance roll on's, men's aftershave, bath salts, body oils, natural remedies, like my first aid "Boo Boo" Lotion. I also make some skin care items, such as cleansing grains, Anti-Aging serum, Herbal Caffeine eye serum, and others. I will be adding more items, such as custom skin facial masks, and more green and herbal teas.

How did you come about wanting to open a shop on Etsy? I opened my Etsy shop, because I was looking for a way to sell the items I love creating. I did some investigating, and discovered Etsy! I love it, and coming up on a landmark of 2000 sales soon!

What do you like to do in your free time when your not working on your Etsy shop? In my free time, I love spending time with family, watching my son perform in the marching band, geocaching with my husband, and am about to start a class tonight with a friend of mine at a locale church on the book of Revelations.

What is your  most popular product you sell? One of most popular items is my Onion Soup/Dip Mix! Several of my seasonings are good sellers. My recently added perfume and fragrance oils for men have been selling very well also.

How long have you been practicing your craft or art? I have been creating items since I was a teenager. I grew up with a "crafty" mother and grandmother! I have been making my seasoning mixes for about 2 years now, and just started with my perfume and fragrance roll on's a couple of months ago.

Where can we find your merchandise online? Right now, the only place I am selling is on Etsy. I am looking at creating a web site with some mutual crafty friends, and have been approved to sell on Amazon Handmade.

    Absolutely wonderful! I ordered 2 oil perfumes and they smell like heaven. So floral, like being in a garden right there in front of the flower. I love them, and I will be returning for future purchases! Beautiful!
